Some Questions Answered ...

What’s involved?
A weekly rehearsal on Wednesday evenings between 6.30 and 7.30 at St Mary’s Church or Hall. Occasional concerts in and around Ross.

Will I have to have an audition?
Yes, but it won’t be anything to worry about. Come and try us out first. The most important thing is that you’re keen.

How old do I need to be?
8. There is no upper limit.

Is this a church choir?
No, not at all. The children of the church choir are all a part of the group but The Voice Squad sings non-religious music for concerts, not church services. We are based at St Mary’s because that is a good place to sing.

What kind of music will we sing?
All sorts of music, in all sorts of styles, in all sorts of places, for all sorts of people.

Will I have to pay?
No, it’s all free! We hope to fund the choir by other means.
